What I expected!
I use this spray when I remove my Invisilign trays. I rinse them, then spray. It keeps them clean and I can pop them back in when I finish eating.
For those of you who are not aware, xylitol is a sweetener made from birch or corn (low glycemic) that happens to be "antibacterial." When live bacteria tries to feed off this form of sugar, it is unable to process or metabolize it so it basically dies of starvation. This will not harm you in any way and it will taste good too. It is pricey though considering I could purchase 5lbs of xylitol for the same amount of money. This is nicely packaged for use in traveling, keep in your purse, car, etc
My wife wears a nightly retainer and Smile Saver Spray Cleaner is just the thing to help keep retainers fresh. She has used retainer cleaning tablets on occasion, but this spray is so much more convenient. You spray your retainer with Smile Saver and they're ready to use. It smells like mouth wash with its refreshing aroma and safely kills odor causing bacteria.
The ingredients are purified water, xylitol, lauric arginate and natural flavors. The xylitol helps prevent cavities.
I wear a clear plastic retainer just at home and mostly just while sleeping, so I am usually able to clean it with a brush. However, I am going to be traveling where I will not always have a lot of clean water available, so I had figured I would just leave my retainer behind. Now, with this spray, I will be able to take the retainer and clean it with the spray when necessary.
The spray has a pleasant, minty, sweet taste.
I really like this products, I feel like it doesn’t dry after 60 secs, the taste is not that great but you do feel clean after you use it. Good for on the go!

I just started Invisalign on Monday , I like this product, it is small and I can carry in my purse, helps with a fast clean and tastes good !

ery happy with this product. I wanted to be able to keep my aligners clean and fresh while on a long road trip and this did the trick. I do keep a small container with water to rinse aligners after taking off and then spray with Smile Saver prior to reinserting. Will continue buying.
This Smilesaver spray is a great way to freshen your retainer throughout the day - especially when you are unable to clean it - such as while traveling or at work, etc. To use it, simply spray a generous amount of this product on both sides of the retainer. Wait 30 seconds and then re-insert your retainer in your mouth. You do not have to rinse this product before reinserting it. This is alcohol and sugar free. So far, I am impressed with this product.
I use this spray for my night guard because the care directions for my nightguard tell me not to use toothpaste or denture cleaners on it so I always worry about it smelling. I got a different spray from the manufacturer of my night guard that left a strong aftertaste in my mouth and I didn't like it at all.
My favorite part about this spray is that the mint smell is very light and the taste isn't strong either. It's like a stick of Wrigley's gum but it goes away fast. No bad aftertaste.
Love this product, the flavor is delicious and it makes my breath feel super fresh. The one thing I would prefer is if it was sold as a double pack and priced accordingly. Most of us who have braces or like myself Invisalign k ow that we have multiple oral hygiene packs, one for work, school, gym, car, purse, etc. It would be nice to be able to buy in a multi-pack for this reason, also because the spray bottle is kind of small. I will probably purchase again.
These seem to clean my retainers. You don't have to rinse them after you spray. It does not leave a bad taste. I still use retainer cleaner once a day, but this is great for cleaning at other times and when out to eat.
